Currently, most therapists at Myers-Galloway Counseling accept private pay, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (All PPO, All Indemnity, Blue Home with Novant Health, and Blue Care) and Cigna/Evernorty insurance plans.

If you prefer to pay out of pocket, you will receive a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Clients often take advantage of Health Savings or Flexible Spending accounts.

Practice policy includes keeping a debit or credit card on file for payment at the time of service. Cash or checks are not accepted. Below are session fees by provider type:

Myers-Galloway Counseling does not communicate with anyone about your case unless required by law. We also do not provide letters for service animals, work accommodations, or short term disability claims. You will have to ask your primary care physician for support on those matters.

No. Currently we do not accept medicare or medicaid plans for therapy sessions.

Please provide a 24-hour notice for the cancellation OR rescheduling of an appointment. Otherwise, the debit or credit card on file will automatically be charged for the entire amount of the scheduled session. Monday appointments must be canceled by 5 p.m. on the preceding Friday. If you cancel or reschedule more than 3 appointments without 24-hour’s notice, your services will be terminated. No refunds will be given for current or previous services provided.

Yes. Myers-Galloway Counseling provides in-person and telemental health or online counseling for clients who are residents of North Carolina. You will be asked to provide a copy of your North Carolina Drivers License and attest to your residency of the state.

No. Myers-Galloway Counseling does not offer addictions treatment nor is our treatment appropriate for clients who are recently recovering.

During your first session, there will be a lot of questions. By the time you meet with your therapist, you would have already reviewed practice policies and completed the intake form. This is a good time to confirm if working together will be a good fit. This is pretty standard when you are in the early stages. As you get to know your therapist, this gets easier. As licensed professionals in the state of North Carolina, our providers cannot disclose any information about a client without written consent. The exceptions are if there is suspected child, dependent adult, or elder abuse. Another exception is if you are threatening to hurt another person or yourself.
