Our 2022 (and beyond) Impact on Black Women

At Myers-Galloway Counseling, our mission is to Heal and develop confident Black women, so they can create resilient families.” Our vision is to create an environment where mental health conversations become normalized for Black women creating an improved sense of self and healthier family relationships. That would not be possible without the support of our client’s, community resources and vendors.

Our services are provided by licensed Black therapists in Charlotte, NC who understand the nuances of parentification, adultification, and microaggressions in order to provide sound treatment. Black women bring unique experiences to therapy that would leave lasting negative mental health impacts if left untreated. We help clients create healthy support systems, educate them on boundaries and mental health and teach them mindfulness techniques.

As we prepare for future growth, it is important to begin the process of capturing and articulating our impact as well as the lessons learned during business operations last year. Stay tuned for more exciting things in 2023!
